Legal Protection Group are delighted to bring you the latest edition of ATE Matters with our pick of the latest key judgments and decision affecting the world of litigation and funding.

This month we start with a case considering the court’s power to order disclosure of documents to a client bringing a claim for negligence.  An application to strike out witness statements which resulted in a total costs bill of over £270k is next under the spotlight followed by two cases dealing with the subject of Part 36 offer acceptance.  Finally this month, one for your injury litigation colleagues, a case involving an ex-Premier League footballer and the issue of ‘burden of proof’ in his Clinical Negligence claim.

As always do please get in touch if you have any comments regarding ATE Matters or need any assistance with ATE insurance and/or litigation funding.
